This portrait in this artwork, done by Rodney Swansborough is oil pastels on fabric. Up to this stage, the portraits in the collaborative series with Pearl Red Moon, have been done on archival card which is subject to creasing when worked on with a sewing machine when textile embellishments are added.
The use of this special fabric largely eliminates this problem.
A new series of collaborative works will be exhibited at the Summer Art Bazaar in Newcastle, Australia on 1st December 2012.
