Madonna - by Rodney Swansborough

Today I have completed a full profile of a woman's face with her eyes closed. This artwork forms part of the series "Red Lips" which Pearl and myself are doing collaboratively. Pearl will add her textile artwork to this piece as well as her 'framing'. I have suggested that Pearl carry the textile across this artwork and then stitch the borders of the actual portrait as and added effect.
